Mendy grew up in China and moved to Massachusetts for graduate school, where she received her Master’s in Education and Master’s in Public Policy and Administration. Before joining the City and County of San Francisco, Mendy worked at a local nonprofit organization for over eight years. Her experience at the nonprofit organization prompted her to pursue Certified Public Accountant license and pivot her career focus to Finance.

Currently, Mendy’s main responsibilities are budget planning and financial analysis for the Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families. DCYF provides a great match for her education background and career vision for the future.
