Greg was born and raised in Los Angeles, came to San Francisco to attend San Francisco State University and never left the Bay Area. During college he worked as a camp counselor and preschool teacher at Stonestown YMCA. He then moved on to work at the Buchanan YMCA where he was the Program Director for their Preschool Program and subsequently their Afterschool Program. From there, he went on to become the executive director for several start-up childcare programs and became the first Program Director for GLIDE Youth Programs. In 2004, Greg began working at DCYF as a Program Specialist and is currently a Senior Fiscal & Compliance Officer.
