Brandon Shou

Finance Director | Budget & Finance Team

Brandon is the Finance Director who manages DCYF’s Finance Team and is responsible for a variety of finance and accounting functions, including accounts payable, procurement, grants management, financial reporting and audits. He joined the City & County of San Francisco in 2004, starting with the Recreation & Parks Department and later the San Francisco Unified School District before transferring to DCYF in September 2005. Brandon has nearly 30 years of experience in accounting and taxation. He earned a BA (Hons.) in Business Administration from the University of Bolton in the United Kingdom and is an IRS Enrolled Agent. He has been living in San Francisco since 2002 and is proud to call this great city his permanent home. Brandon enjoys traveling and has been to almost 30 countries and 25 states across the US.
